The U.S. Secretary of Commerce, Wilbur Louis Ross led a delegation from the Presidential Advisory Council on Doing Business in Africa (PAC-DBIA) on a four-day visit to Ghana. The visit was part of a fact-finding mission conducted by the U.S. President’s PAC-DBIA.

Ghana – Germany sign Two Financial Cooperation Agreements
The Governments of the Republic of Ghana and the Federal Republic of Germany signed two Agreements in relation to a Financial Cooperation Agreement on the Sound Disposal and Recycling of electric and electronic waste (e-waste) and Loan and Financing Agreements for the Establishment of the Ghana Deposit Protection Scheme on 12th June 2018.

Ken Ofori-Atta adjudged 2018 Best African Finance Minister
The Minister for Finance, Hon. Ken Ofori-Atta, has won the prestigious Best Finance Minister for Africa award for 2018. London-based magazine, The Banker, published by the Financial Times Group since 1926, conferred the award on him at a side event of the 2018 African Development Bank (AfDB) Annual meetings in Busan, South Korea.
