Tamale, 3rd June 2021, - The Minister for Finance, Hon. Ken Ofori-Atta has commenced a three day programme of dialogues with the youth between the ages of 18-35-years with focus on the importance of entrepreneurship and exposing them to opportunities in the economy. The programme is in partnership with the Springboard Youth Dialogues under the auspices of the Spring Board Road Show Foundation.
The Finance Minister discussed among other things Ghana’s current economic performance and the current Post- Covid-19 ecosystem of opportunities available for young entrepreneurs especially under the Ghana CARES Obaatanpa programme.
The Ghana CARES programme was launched last year by the Ministry of Finance. It encompassed a set of policy interventions which would drive Ghana’s Economic Recovery Plan over the next 3-years.
Participants in Tamale were drawn from tertiary institutions, young entrepreneurs, start-up businesses owners and prominent youth groups.
