Hon. Dr. Stephen Amoah is a Financial Economist and currently a Deputy Minister of Finance of Ghana. He is the Member of Parliament for Nhyiaeso Constituency in the Ashanti Region.
Dr. Amoah serves on a number of boards in Ghana including the Ghana COCOBOD, Ghana Enterprises Agency and GCB Bank plc.
He is also on the Finance Committee and Foreign Affairs Committee in Parliament. He was formerly a Member of the African Parliamentary Union, (APU). Dr. Amoah was also formerly a Deputy Minister of Trade and industry and the Chief Executive Officer of the Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC) under the Office of President of Ghana where small and medium size businesses were capitalized.
Dr. Stephen Amoah holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Actuarial Science from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, (KNUST) with the option of Finance, Investment, Macroeconomics and Mathematics.
He also holds a Master of Science Degree in Strategic Financial Management from University of Derby, United Kingdom and has a Certificate in Entrepreneurship from MIT in the USA and BSc. in Computer Science from KNUST.
