Accra, May 10, 2018 - The Government of Ghana, acting through the Ministry of Finance, has completed engagements with international investors on its 2018 Sovereign bond roadshow.
2. The roadshow, which took place between the 3rd and 8th of May 2018, has received positive feedback and commendations from investors in the United States and the United Kingdom on the Ghana story.
3. The Ministry of Finance is, therefore, in the process of concluding terms of a deal with investors and will announce same upon closure.
4. Ghana is in the market to raise an initial $750.00 million of a targeted $1.00 billion in new international debt as per the 2018 budget. The country may, depending on market conditions, raise up to an additional $1.50 billion for liability management. END
