The Procurement and Supply Chain Division oversees procurement, logistics, supply chain, and contract management for the Ministry. It ensures efficient spending, value for money, and adherence to best practices and legal standards, with a focus on Fairness, Integrity, and Transparency (FIT) in line with the Public Procurement Act, 2003 (Act 663) as amended.

OBJECTIVES
- Coordinate Procurement Activities: Implement decisions of procurement, tender and disposal, including managing invitations, tender documents, and evaluations.
- Maintain Tender Lists: Annually update and manage standing lists of registered tenderers within the Ministry.
- Contract Monitoring: Oversee user Divisions to ensure contracts are implemented according to agreed terms.

UNITS
The Procurement Division has been structured with the following units:
- Planning and Contracting Unit: It is responsible for developing effective procurement strategies, identifying and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing the preparation of procurement plans. It ensures compliance with budgetary provisions and mitigates risks associated with procurement activities.
- Contract Management Unit: It oversees contract execution, ensuring all parties fulfill their obligations while monitoring milestones, deliverables, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. This unit also evaluates performance metrics and addresses disputes, offering strategic solutions to maintain the integrity of contracts
- Store/Warehouse Unit: It manages inventory levels, optimizes warehouse operations, and ensures quality control. It is also tasked with disposing of obsolete items and maintaining records for future reference.
